How to Install Windows on Steam Deck Without a PC
You don't need a second PC to install Windows on your Steam Deck. Just grab a USB flash drive, load it up with the Windows installation media, and plug it into your Steam Deck. Make sure to change the boot order in the Steam Deck's BIOS to boot from the USB, and follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows. Remember, you'll need a keyboard, maybe connected via USB or Bluetooth, to navigate through the setup.

Actually, installing Windows on a Steam Deck sans PC is pretty straightforward. Get yourself a decent-sized USB drive (at least 8GB but more is better) and download the Windows ISO from Microsoft's official site. Use another tool (plenty online) to make that USB drive a bootable Windows installer. Pop that baby into your Steam Deck, boot it up, and voila! Windows installation wizard should greet you. Don't forget to back up your SteamOS stuff if you wanna go back.
Just stick with SteamOS. The Deck is optimized for it, and you'll avoid a ton of potential headaches with drivers and compatibility. Windows on Deck is doable, but why fix what ain't broken?
