First, make sure that the Xbox 360 Slim is turned off and unplugged. Slide open the hard drive cover on the side of the console. Insert the hard drive into the slot until it clicks into place. Close the cover, plug in the console, and turn it on. The console should recognize the new hard drive automatically.

Turn off the Xbox 360 Slim and unplug it. Slide open the cover on the side. Pop the hard drive in, close the cover, plug back in, and power up. Simple as that!
