Just hit the 'tag people' option while creating a post, type their username, and select 'invite collaborator.'
To invite a collaborator on Instagram, just create a post and tag the person you want to collaborate with. Once tagged, you can send the post out for them to accept the collaboration invite within the app. Easy peasy!
