Just select your units and right-click on the enemy troops or buildings you want them to attack. They'll move and engage automatically.
Pro tip: for an attack move, hold down the Alt key while right-clicking on the ground where you want your units to go. They'll engage any enemies along the way!
You can also use the 'M' key for a move command and then manually target enemies once your units are in better positioning. It gives you more control!
