If you've added your friend on Steam, you can join their game directly through the Steam friends list when they're online. Easy peasy!

You can also join through the 'Join Game' tab by searching for the server your friend is on, then just click and play!

Just host a private server and invite your friends. They can join using the 'Friends' tab in the game menu. It's how my squad and I roll!
