To join a friend's game in State of Decay, you'll both need to be on the same platform. Just make sure your friend has their multiplayer session open, then select 'Join Game' from the friend's list after they've sent you an invite!

All you gotta do is wait for an invite from your pal, and then click 'Join Game' from the menu. Easy peasy!

Sadly, the original State of Decay doesn't support joining friends' games. Guess you'll have to stick to solo survival!
