First, make sure you're friends on your Nintendo Switch! Then, head to the game's lobby and select "Friends." From there, you'll see a list of online friends and can join them in matches. Simple as inking a wall!

I've played with friends countless times. We always make sure to sync our schedules, and I just hop into the lobby, click "Friends," and join them when they're in a game. We have a blast every time!
