Joining the Steam Deck waitlist is like securing your spot for a concert of your favorite band. Head over to the official Steam Deck page on the Steam website. Look for a reservation button or link – that's your golden ticket. Click it, log into your Steam account, and follow the prompts to join the waitlist. Just make sure your wallet is ready for when your turn comes up!

Simply put, go to Steam, find the Steam Deck section, and hit the reservation button. If it's not there, it might mean the waitlist is full or temporarily closed, so check back later.

Heads up, being on the waitlist doesn't guarantee you'll get a Steam Deck right away. Valve releases units in batches, so patience is key. I've been on it and finally got mine after a bit of a wait, but it was totally worth it!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company. The logos and other identifying marks attached are trademarks of and owned by each represented company and/or its affiliates. Please visit each company's website for additional terms and conditions.
