How to kick someone from a Terraria server
Kicking someone off your Terraria server is pretty straightforward. If you're the host or have admin rights, all you gotta do is open up the console window by pressing the ` key (it's the one under Esc). Then, just type 'kick [player name]' but without the quotes and brackets, of course. Make sure you spell their name right! Hit enter and poof, they'll be gone!

Admin commands are the way to go. If you're not the server host though, you're outta luck. Always play nice to avoid the kick!
