Giovanni's shadow Pokémon can be tough. Make sure you have a good mix of types like Electric for his possible Garchomp or Rhyperior and Rock types to deal with his Bird types. Study his current lineup before battling.

The key to defeating Giovanni is knowing his lineup and countering with strong Rock, Electric, and Fighting type Pokémon. His Persian is weak to Fighting types, so bring a Machamp or Lucario to take it down quickly.

I've taken down Giovanni multiple times. Your best bet is to go in with Fighting types for Persian, and then plan around his other Pokémon with strong counters. Don’t forget to power up your Pokémon!

Just use a strong Machamp or Conkeldurr for Persian and follow up with counters for his other Pokémon. Easy peasy.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
