You gotta target his coolant pack on his back! Aim there until it bursts, then wait for him to go berserk. When he slams his hammer and it freezes him, that's your cue to unload all your damage on him. Rinse and repeat until he’s toast!

Kril? Just shoot his backpack until it breaks, then smack him when he's frozen. Worked for me every time!
