Just grind more. If you're struggling with Mammorest, your Pals probably aren't strong enough. Level up more before trying again.

Honestly, just team up with a friend. Mammorest is tough solo, but with a buddy, it's way easier. Trust me, two sets of Pals attacking it makes a huge difference.
