Flashlights on, folks! Mimics hate light. Shine your flashlight directly on them to slow them down, making them easier targets for your squad. Not a surefire kill method, but it sure helps!
Personal experience here: once cornered a Mimic by accident thinking it was just another piece of scrap. Panic fired everything I had and it worked. So, uh, maybe just panic shoot? On a more serious note, coordination and heavy weapons are key. And maybe a bit of panic to keep things spicy.
