Fire up your game and pray to the RNG gods! And don’t blink; shinies are sparkly and clearly not the usual colors of that Pokémon.
Shinies also have a little shiny icon next to their name once caught.
Shiny Pokémon have a unique color variation, so if the Pokémon looks different than usual, it's a shiny.
When you tap on a Pokémon and see sparkles around it, that's how you know it's shiny!
