First off, check the bottom right corner of the card for a symbol - that's your rarity indicator. Legendary Pokemon cards often have unique holofoil patterns and a rarity symbol like a star or a star H (for holographic). Also, Legendary cards are usually part of specific sets so you could look up the set number which is also on the card. If it's part of a known Legendary set, you might have struck gold!

Legendaries have that special vibe, ya know? Look for unique art and shiny bits. Also, the name is a big giveaway. If you've got something like 'Mewtwo' or 'Lugia' on there, congrats, you're in legendary territory!

Simple - if it looks super cool and your friends go 'whoa' when they see it, it's probably legendary. But seriously, check for holographic art and rarity symbols.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
