Super easy trick: just flip that card over and check the bottom! All Pokemon cards have a little symbol on the bottom that tells you what set they're from. Plus, there's also a set name and a card number there. If you're totally lost, the internet is your best friend. Websites like Bulbapedia have complete lists of all the symbols and sets. Happy hunting!

Been collecting since I was 10, and the best tip I can give is to pay attention to the symbols near the card's number at the bottom. Each set has its unique symbol. Google is your friend here, just search the symbol, and you'll find the set name real quick.

Symbols? Who has time for that? Just use an app. There's plenty that scan your cards and tell you everything about them. Boom, done.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
