How to know what type of Pokemon card you have
CarryingMonte·7 months agoJust flip the card. Symbols on the bottom tell the whole story. No symbol usually means it’s a basic card.

It's super easy once you get the hang of it! Pokemon cards are part of a vast world that includes common, uncommon, rare, and even ultra-rare types! Basically, check the bottom right corner of your card for a symbol— a circle means it's common, a diamond signals it's uncommon, and a star means you've got yourself a rare card. And if you see a holographic finish or a unique design, you might be holding onto something ultra-rare!
IDK why everyone makes a big deal out of this. If it looks cool, it's a good card. Simple.
Honestly, it's not rocket science, but also not as simple as it seems. Beyond the basic symbols, the real juicy stuff comes with the special cards like EX, GX, or V cards - these are the ones that serious players and collectors are after. Look for special textures, holographic patterns, or extra letters next to the name to spot these bad boys.
