You guys, the trick is in the bait. You can't just use any bait for lava fishing. Make sure to catch some of those fiery critters down in the underworld. They work like a charm every time!

Actually, the Hotline Fishing Hook isn't your only option. Once you've got the Lavaproof Fishing Hook accessory or use Lavaproof Bug Net to catch bait, any fishing pole will work. So, you've got options!

Lava fishing in Terraria is super cool but needs a bit of prep! First, you gotta get yourself a Hotline Fishing Hook, which you can snag by doing quests for the Angler NPC. Chances are, you'll need to complete a bunch of quests because it's a rare drop. Next up, find yourself a nice spot of lava - underground or build your own lava pool. Then, just fish like you would in water! Remember, you can also use critters found in Hell as bait.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:
