Leaving groups is overrated. Just mute notifications and forget it exists.
I did this last week! Go to the group, click on the three dots menu, select 'Leave Group,' and confirm. Bye-bye notifications!
Head to the group, click on the 'Joined' dropdown, and hit 'Leave Group.' You'll get a prompt asking if you're sure; just confirm, and you're out!
