Limiting your FPS in Apex Legends can help with smoother gameplay if your rig isn't top-of-the-line. Go into the game settings, under the 'Video' tab, and you should see an option to set a 'Max FPS' limit. Set that to whatever value you prefer. Another way is to tweak your settings file directly. Go to your Apex Legends installation folder, locate the settings.cfg file, and add a line: `fps_max ` - just replace with the actual number. Saves and you're good to go!

Honest opinion? Just set it from the in-game graphics settings. Messing with config files ain't worth the hassle.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
