How to limit FPS in Apex Legends on Steam
Limiting FPS in Apex Legends on Steam is a breeze! Just open the game and go to the 'Settings' menu, under 'Video' settings. There, you can adjust the 'Adaptive Resolution FPS Target' to set the max FPS. You might also want to play around with the 'V-Sync' option depending on your monitor refresh rate. If you're still not satisfied, you can add command line arguments via the Steam app by right-clicking on Apex Legends in your library, selecting 'Properties,' then under 'General' tab, you'll see 'Launch Options.' Here, you can type in '+fps_max #' where # is your desired FPS cap. Remember, setting it too low might affect gameplay smoothness, so find your sweet spot!

Just use the in-game settings dude, no need to mess around with Steam stuff or command lines unless you really need to.
Honestly, just cap it using your GPU鈥檚 control panel. Much easier and works for all games, not just Apex.
