If you really wanna get techy with it, you can modify the game’s launch options. Right-click on Apex Legends in your Steam library, go to 'Properties,' then 'Set Launch Options,' and type in '+fps_max #', where # is the maximum FPS you want. Be sure you know what you're doing, though!

Easiest way? Dive into the game settings, my friend. Apex Legends has in-game FPS settings. Just go to 'Video Settings' and look for the 'Adaptive Resolution FPS Target' option. Set your desired FPS cap there. Smooth sailing!

Honestly, just enjoy the game without messing too much with the settings. Unless you're experiencing major issues, Apex Legends is pretty optimized right out of the box.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
