Skip the cables if you can. Just go to the 'Settings' > 'Accessories' > 'Bluetooth' on your PS5 and pair it wirelessly.

Bluetooth all the way! Hold the PS button and the Create button until the lightbar starts flashing. Then pair it via your PS5's Bluetooth settings.
