From experience, do it from Instagram: Tap on your profile > menu > settings > Account > Linked Accounts > Facebook. It's as easy as pie!
Open Instagram, hit the three lines for the menu, navigate to Settings -> Account -> Linked Accounts, then pick Facebook and sign in. Boom, linked!
Quick tip: You can also link them directly through the Facebook app under 'Settings' and 'Account Settings'.
