Just go to the game’s settings where your accounts are linked (like Minecraft), unlink your current Microsoft account, and then link to the new one. Simple as that!

Win official PlayStation gift cards by playing games on Playbite!

Hey, have done it myself! Unlinking from the old Microsoft account is just a matter of accessing the game’s settings (like Minecraft or Fortnite). Then, in the same settings, just use the option to link a new Microsoft account. Good luck!

You can unlink your PSN ID from your current Microsoft account by going to the account settings on the relevant game or service (like Minecraft). Once unlinked, you can link your PSN ID to a new Microsoft account. Be sure to follow any specific instructions provided by the game or PlayStation's support site.

Hot take: just create a new PSN ID and link it to the new Microsoft account instead. It's way easier.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
