First, log into your EA account via their website. Then, navigate to the 'Connections' tab in the settings, and link your Xbox account there. Make sure you're signed into your Xbox too!

Why link accounts? IMO, just play the games.

I just linked mine last week. Log into your EA account on their site, go to 'Account Settings' > 'Connected Accounts', and then add your Xbox account. Just make sure you're signed in on the Xbox as well. Easy peasy!
