To load a V-Bucks card on Switch, go to the Nintendo eShop, select 'Redeem Code,' and enter the code on your card. Then, open Fortnite and the V-Bucks will be added to your account!
You just need to redeem the card in the Nintendo eShop and then launch Fortnite to see your V-Bucks balance updated. Easy peasy!
Skipping the eShop and trying to redeem the card directly in Fortnite won't work. Make sure to do it through the eShop.
Trust me, the eShop route works like a charm. Added my V-Bucks there just last week and it was a smooth process!
