How to Locate Companions in Fallout 4
AffordingAggie路7 months agoAnother method is if you're on PC, you can use console commands. Open the console by pressing the tilde (~) key. For example, to find Dogmeat, type 'player.moveto 0001d162'. Replace '0001d162' with the ID of the companion you want to find. Be careful, though, using console commands can mess with your game.

Lost a buddy in the wasteland? No worries, just head to their default location. Most companions go back to where you first found them or to a home you've assigned them in a settlement. For instance, Piper will be at Publick Occurrences in Diamond City if you lose track of her.
One quick way to locate your companions in Fallout 4 is to use the Settlement Bell. Just go to one of your settlements, build a bell (you can find it under resources then misc), and ring it. All settlers and companions hanging around that settlement will come over to the bell, including your lost companion. Handy, right?
Honestly, just build the Vault-Tec Population Management System terminal once you have the Vault-Tec Workshop add-on. It has an option to track companions on your Pip-Boy map. Super useful and saves a lot of headaches.
lol just don't lose them 4head
