Honestly, just use the in-game settings like the other guy said. But if you want to flex your tech muscles, you can always edit the game's launch options in the Origin or Steam library. Add '+fps_max [your desired fps]' without the quotes and replace [your desired fps] with your number. Remember, the smoother the game, the better your chances of clinching that win.

Easiest way? Go into your game settings, then under the 'Video' tab, you'll find an option to set a 'Max FPS' limit. Adjust it to whatever value you prefer, and bam, you've locked in your FPS.

In-game settings work fine. Don't overcomplicate it.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
