There really isn't a straightforward way to appear offline in Valorant through the game itself. Riot hasn't added this feature yet, which is a bummer for those of us who sometimes just wanna game in peace without broadcasting it to the whole friend list.
Deceive app is your go-to. Been using it for months to sneak in some solo plays and it's been smooth sailing. Just remember, with great power comes great responsibility. Don't use it to dodge your friends all the time!
