From personal experience, I thought it was a bit tricky at first. But yeah, just swap it out in the Armor menu of your inventory. Did that and bam, Link's glorious hair was back in the wind!

Lowering the hood in Tears of the Kingdom is easier than you might think! Just go into your inventory, select the 'Armor' tab, and from there, deselect your hood by choosing another headgear item or none at all. Link will instantly look more breezy!
