It's super easy! Just open the game, go to settings, and under 'Video', pick a lower resolution. Your game will look a bit blurrier but it'll run smoother on older rigs. Plus, you might get the jump on your enemies with those extra frames per second.

I lowered my game's resolution and noticed a massive boost in performance, especially during heavy firefights. Had to sacrifice some visual quality, but now I'm not getting stomped because my game lags less.

To lower the resolution in Apex Legends, dive into the game settings. Once you're there, click on 'Video Settings'. You'll see an option for 'Display Mode' (choose 'Fullscreen' for best performance). Right below that, you'll find 'Resolution'. Click on that and select a lower resolution than your current one. Less pixels, more FPS!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
