To craft an Auto Hammer in Terraria, you first gotta defeat Plantera, a hardmode boss. After showing Plantera who's boss, the Truffle NPC will start selling the Auto Hammer for 1 Platinum Coin. Make sure you've got a house for the Truffle in an above-ground mushroom biome so he can move in and sell you this awesome crafting station!

Honestly, getting the Auto Hammer isn't worth the hustle until you're deep into hardmode. Focus on gearing up and defeating Plantera first. Once you're at that point, buying it from the Truffle is a breeze.

Short and sweet: Beat Plantera, have a Truffle NPC in a mushroom biome house, buy Auto Hammer for 1 Plat. Easy!
