Making a Cobalt Drill in Terraria is straightforward but requires a bit of effort. First, you gotta mine Cobalt Ore, which you can find in the Underground and Cavern layers after defeating the Wall of Flesh and thus triggering Hardmode in your world. You're gonna need an Iron or Lead Anvil to craft it. Collect at least 15 Cobalt Ore, smelt them into Cobalt Bars at a Furnace, and then use those bars at the Anvil to craft your Cobalt Drill. Happy drilling!

Easiest way? Just get 15 Cobalt Bars and head over to an Iron/Lead Anvil. No fuss, no muss.

Honestly, Cobalt Drills are overrated. Sure, you need one to mine the next tier of ores, but a Cobalt Pickaxe does the job and swings faster. Drill noise gets annoying real fast, too.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
