Command blocks aren't available in the normal crafting menu. Use the command `/give @p minecraft:command_block` in Creative mode.

You can't craft a command block in Survival mode. Just open the chat and type `/give @p command_block` to get one!

You have to be in Creative mode and use the `give` command because you won't find command blocks in the inventory!
