Just use a single bed and stack up a few pillows. It's not officially a daybed, but it sure looks the part!
Easy peasy! Combine a traditional bed with a dresser or wide bookshelf as the frame. Add some pillows and blankets for coziness!
First-hand experience here: I made mine by combining a single bed with some custom-built blocks as the base. Add some decorative cushions, and voila!
