Honestly, I'd just buy a deck box. Making one out of cards sounds cool but those cards aren't built to last like that. You’ll end up with a floppy box and possibly ruined cards. Save the headache.

First off, you're gonna wanna collect a bunch of spare cards you ain't afraid to fold. Get yourself a clear blueprint of a deck box online - YouTube has tons of tutorials. Basically, you'll be folding and taping cards together to form the box and lid. It’s kinda like origami but with Pikachu. Make sure you reinforce the corners with extra tape or maybe even glue to keep everything sturdy. If you’re feeling extra, laminate a few cards to use as dividers inside your new box!

I made one last month! The key is using cards you don't care about because they WILL get bent. I used a simple box pattern and sealed the edges with packing tape for extra durability. It's not the prettiest but it holds my deck and gets lots of comments at my local game shop!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
