Starting out in the Pokemon TCG and wanna make a deck? Here's a quick guide: 1. Pick a theme or favorite Pokemon to build around. 2. Include a balanced mix of around 15-20 Pokemon, 10-15 Energy cards, and the rest Trainer cards to make up a 60 card deck. Remember, diversity in your Pokemon types isn't crucial, but having a strategy is. 3. Playtest! The best way to figure out what works and what doesn't is by playing lots of games. Adjust as you go!

Honestly, just copy a deck list online and tweak it a bit. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Just stick to the basics: 20 Pokemon, 20 Trainers, and 20 Energy. Can't go wrong. Keep it balanced and you'll start to see what kinds of cards you need more or less of. Remember, every deck needs a solid strategy to win, so focus on that.

Big tip: don't ignore your Trainer cards. They can really turn the tide of a game. A good deck is not just about the Pokemon, but how well your Trainer cards support them.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
