Making a fishing hole in Terraria is super simple and super rewarding! You need at least 75 blocks of liquid (water, honey, or lava, depending on what you're fishing for) for a basic fishing hole. Dig out a space and line it with blocks to prevent leaks. Filling it up is easy with a Bottomless Water Bucket or by creating an inlet and outlet with pumps. If you're feeling fancy, decorate your fishing hole's surroundings to make it a chill spot for your fishing adventures!

Just dig a big hole and fill it with water, lol. Doesn't need to be a work of art.

Pro tip: Make multiple fishing holes in different biomes to catch all the unique fish Terraria offers. I've got one in the Jungle, one in the Ice biome, and another in the Crimson. Trust me, it pays off when you're crafting potions or looking for that rare catch!
