DIYing a Hot Wheels car launcher is actually easier than you might think! You just need a rubber band, some cardboard, tape, and a paper clip. First, cut a strip of cardboard as the track, bend one end to create a ramp. Then, make a notch at the start of the ramp for the paper clip. Secure the rubber band under the ramp, hook one end to the paper clip, and the other end to the front of your Hot Wheels car. Pull back, release, and watch it zoom! For extra oomph, make sure the rubber band is tight but not too tight, or your car might do backflips instead of speeding forward!

I made one once using LEGO and it was epic. You can adjust the tension and everything. Plus, LEGOs just add another layer of fun to the whole Hot Wheels universe. If you have them lying around, give it a try!

Honestly, just buy one. The effort you put into making one could be spent on finding a cool design online that's probably way more efficient and less of a headache.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
