Just mine iron, smelt it, grab some wood, and click around your workbench. Voila, iron pickaxe!

Honestly, why bother with iron when you can aim for platinum or gold right away? Skip the iron age, folks.

To forge your trusty iron pickaxe in Terraria, you'll need a few things first! Start off by mining for iron ore beneath the surface – those shiny, silver blobs in the stone are what you're after. Once you've got yourself a good haul, head back up and toss that ore into a furnace to smelt it into iron bars. You're gonna need 12 of those bars. Next, make sure you've built a workbench – if not, just chop some wood and craft one. With your iron bars in hand and a workbench ready, you can craft your iron pickaxe. Oh, and don't forget, you'll need 3 pieces of wood along with those bars. Bam, you're all set to dig deeper and uncover even more treasures!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
