So, you wanna summon a celestial smackdown, huh? The key to making a meteor fall in Terraria is breaking at least one Shadow Orb or Crimson Heart in your world. These are found in the Corruption or Crimson biomes. Get yourself some bombs or a hammer to smash 'em. But remember, meteorites only start falling after you've defeated the evil boss: either the Eater of Worlds or the Brain of Cthulhu. Once you've done that and smashed an orb or heart, keep your fingers crossed; there's a chance each night (about 50%) for a meteor to land.

Honestly, don't sweat it. Meteors are overrated. Just focus on building cool stuff.

It's simpler than you think: just smash a Shadow Orb or Crimson Heart. Trust me, I did it, and bam鈥攎eteor show! Make sure it's after defeating Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu though.
