Start by scanning planets for resources and pick one with heaps of the stuff you need. Then, drop a Beacon to start your outpost and build Extractors to start mining those resources! Add power and storage and you're all set!

I made a killer mining outpost by scouting for a planet rich in multiple resources. Once I found the sweet spot, I set up extractors and connected them to habs for storage. Don't forget power sources鈥攕olar panels work great if the planet gets sunlight!

First, equip your scanner and identify planetary resources. Drop a beacon, build extractors, and supply them with power. Done!

Mining outpost? Just find some resources and plop down your outpost where they're richest. Easy peasy.
