Sorry to break it to you, but there's no way to legitimately turn a regular Pokemon card into a shiny one. Shiny cards are special versions printed by the official creators, and you can't modify a card to make it shiny without it being considered fake or altered, which significantly decreases its value and is frowned upon by the community. If you're looking to get shiny cards, the best way is to keep trading or buying packs!

Get creative with it! While you can't officially make a card shiny (the shiny Pok茅mon cards are special prints!), some folks customize their cards for personal collections. This could involve adding glitter or using a metallic marker, BUT remember this is just for fun and totally not official. Officially, you gotta trade or buy to snag those shinies.

You can't turn a normal Pokemon card into a shiny one, at least not officially. Shiny cards are rare variations produced by the game's creators. Any attempt to modify a card to make it "shiny" would make the card unofficial and not tournament legal.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
