Honestly, just copy a decklist from a recent tournament winner. It’s a great way to start, and then you can tweak it with your faves or based on what cards you have. Let the pros inspire you!

Just throw in a bunch of strong cards, right? Wrong! Balance is key in a Pokemon TCG deck. You need a mix of Pokemon, Trainer, and Energy cards. A deck with only powerful Pokemon won't win you games without the right support. Test and tweak your deck as you go.

Start by picking a theme or a favorite Pokemon and build around it! You'll need around 15-20 Pokémon cards, 10-15 Energy cards, and the rest can be Trainer cards. Make sure to have a good balance between them. Include cards that complement each other well to pull off awesome combos!

A good deck is like a good sandwich - it needs the right ingredients in the right proportions. Too much bread (Pokemon) and not enough filling (Trainers and Energies) and it's bland. Experiment to find what tastes right for you!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
