To make a private Bedwars game with MVP, first log into Bedwars. Then, click the 'Create Party' button and invite your friends. After you're all in a party, select the game mode you want and click 'Create Match.' Voila, private game time!
I have MVP and do this all the time. Just hit up the 'Custom Match' button in the Bedwars lobby, enter your code, and invite your buddies. Super easy!
