Simple: Beat the big worms (Eater of Worlds), get Shadow Scales, mix with Demonite Bars (12) at an Anvil. Boom, Shadow Pickaxe!

To craft a Shadow Pickaxe in Terraria, you need to first defeat the Eater of Worlds or the Brain of Cthulhu to get Shadow Scales or Tissue Samples. You'll also need 12 Demonite or Crimtane Bars. Then, head over to an Iron or Lead Anvil, and you'll be able to craft your Shadow Pickaxe. This tool can mine Hellstone, so it's a big upgrade!

Actually, you don't really need a Shadow Pickaxe. There are better pickaxes you can get pretty quickly if you focus on other upgrades first. ?‍♂️

I made my Shadow Pickaxe last weekend after grinding for Demonite Bars, and it's so worth it! Mining becomes a breeze, and it even has a cool look. Don't skip on this if you're progressing in Terraria!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
