How to make a Steam Group
Super easy! Just log into your Steam account, click on your username in the top-right corner to bring down the dropdown menu, then select 'Groups.' On the right side, there's a button that says 'Create a new group.' Hit that, fill in the details like your group name, summary, and set up the privacy settings. Voila, you're the proud owner of a Steam group!

Honestly, making a group on Steam is kinda overrated. Just join one that already exists. Much less hassle.
Made my first Steam group for a bunch of friends to share indie game finds. It's pretty simple. Username dropdown > Groups > Create a new group. The customization options are pretty cool, especially setting your group's privacy levels.
