Super easy! Just head over to a Heavy Work Bench in your game (you gotta craft that first if you don't have one) and use 2 stones to make 1 stone slab. Make sure you've got plenty of stones if you're planning on a big project!
Everyone's saying 'Heavy Work Bench' and they're right, but don't forget you need the stones! Can't tell you how many times I've run back and forth because I forgot to mine some first. ?
Honestly, why bother? Just find 'em while exploring. Less hassle.
