You can't make a Spotify widget on desktop. Mobile's where it's at for this feature!
iPhone user? Just swipe right to your Today View, scroll to the bottom, tap 'Edit,' hit the plus sign, and add Spotify. Voila!
If you're on Android, long-press on your home screen and look for the Spotify widget in the widgets menu. Drag and drop it where you want!
Android user here! Home screen > Widgets > Spotify > Drag it. Done and done.
